Second picture Fourth try
Samantha Playing balloon with her Pappaw. If I don't get the hang of this I won't be posting many pictures. I know I must be doing something wrong.
I'm done for now. Just to tell you how long I've been at this the battery on my laptop went dead.

Third time is a Charm
This is try #3 to post pictures on my Blog. What I thought would take a few min. has taken more than an hour. So I'll make this short, but sweet. I'll post each pic separately for now.
This is Westley and Cody opening Handy Manny's Tool Box. He loved his tool box, so much he put them to bed, read them a story and slept with them.
Well, it's clear that I've got a lot of practicing to do. Hopefully I will get the hang of this soon.

Close But so Far Away
Well, my Mom and I left Lubbock Wednesday around 11am on our way to Houston. Westley was to have his Fontan on Fri and a heart cath on Thursday. We wanted to get there in time to spend time with him Thursday evening. As night set in and the day seemed 30hrs long we stopped for the night in the land of Blue Bell ice cream(I always forget the name of the town)about 1 1/2 hrs from Houston.
Thurs. morning as we were leaving to head out for breakfast and the end of our trip, we get a call that West surgery was cancelled and we should turn back. I felt so bad that I couldn't continue and at least be there with Hugs and Kisses. So Mom and I just took a 450 mile road trip to spend the night in a Motel and drive 450 mile back home. We didn't even get to give away the hugs we had saved up.
Cody and all had to ride out IKE at my cousins house. They made it though OK and to Austin. He called and said they will be home tomorrow. I'm ready. PawPaw and I will be here with arms awaiting.
Surgery hasn't been rescheduled, so we will have to gear ourselves up again. We thought it would be over and we would be on our way to recovery. It seems IKE had other plans.
We are blessed all of our family are save with little damage.

My Hero
Today my little 4 yr old grandson,Westley left for Houston. He was born with HLHS a heart condition requiring a 3 stage surgery. Next Friday he is scheduled for his 3rd surgery.
W.E.S.T.L.E.Y Westley-Westley he's my man he makes me smile when no one can. Sweetie you are my little hero. I love you to the moon and back.

BUSY TIMES
I just can't believe it is taking me so long to get this blog started. The computer is still unable to down load pictures, but I thought I'd share how busy it has been. In April my cousin got married and I went to Arkansas with my son and his family. We had a wonderful time. It was a long hard trip with 2 little ones and Nana riding in the back seat, but good memories were made.
My mom had knee replacement surgery June 3 and it's been crazy. She is doing very well. Hopefully she will graduate from a walker to a cane this week.
Molly came for a visit on June 28 and and spent a week. It was her first time to fly my herself. We all had a wonderful time. Finishing up with so really beautiful fireworks on the 4th of July.
Hopefully I will be able to download pictures and really start blogging soon.

Introduction
Well, I thought I would put a name to the faces in my collage.
The first picture is of my 7 yr old granddaughter,Molly. She lives in Grapevine. That is Westley she is loving on, my 3 1/2 yr old grandson. He's my little man. The next face belongs to Samantha my 6 month old granddaughter. Her PawPaw calls her smiley. West's smiling face. Aren't they the cutest.
Our nephew Shilo was here for a visit this picture is of my son Cody, Shilo, daughter-in-law Annie, and the kids. A picture of Cody, Molly, and Samantha. I'm trying to remember what's next. I know there is a really good picture of Annie and Westley. I think I have put a name on all the faces if I missed one I'll catch you up later.
